ECO

Ten boxes measuring 30 × 40 × 70 cm were mounted on one wall of the gallery, and one larger box, measuring 115 × 70 × 70 cm, was suspended from the ceiling at a height of 140 cm, so that visitors could step inside it. Each box contains an optical system: mirrors on its four inner sides and, at the top, a photograph in a light box. The mirrors repeat the photograph endlessly, vertically and horizontally, creating an infinite plane of mosaics.

ECO was shown at TPK – Centro Cultural Tecla Sala, Barcelona (8 February to 28 March 2008), at Galeria EspaiB, Barcelona (6 April to 26 May 2008) and, in Porto, at Galeria Arthobler, Rua Miguel Bombarda (June 2008).
