HORIZON

Each piece brings together 25 sky images captured via Time Lapse on May 14, 2019 (between 8:01 PM and 8:18 PM), arranged in a 5x5 grid and reorganized to create different shapes and readings. The horizon line, physically absent, is suggested through the spatial organization of the images and the title of the exhibition. The work explores photographic language by introducing the dimension of time, drawing closer to film and moving imagery. However, it returns to two-dimensionality by merging the images to create the illusion of a single object. The project's title plays an important role in this system. In a world dominated by visual excess, here each photograph survives only through its dependency on the rest.
