SHADOW

Project carried out in 2021 - Azores.

Photographs of trees at night, with long exposures using artificial light manually "painted" onto the scene. This series is structured around several frameworks, including sets with fixed views whose visible variations depend exclusively on light variations. This light is not used for reveal the forest as it is, but to build a version of it: what remains in the darkness does not exist photographically, even if it physically exists.
